Job summary

TEN (Transportation Equipment Network) is seeking an Experienced Mobile SEMI-Trailer Technician / Mobile Service Mechanic to travel to customer sites, performing inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on trailers. This hands-on role suits technicians who solve problems, work independently, and deliver high-quality service in the field.

You’ll work on a wide range of trailer systems, uphold safety standards, and represent a leading North American transportation maintenance network

Qualifications

• Experience as a Trailer Technician, Trailer Mechanic, Mobile Mechanic, or Fleet Maintenance Technician.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with welding, brake systems, suspension, and electrical repair.
• Ability to work independently in a mobile service environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to mobile service calls and complete on-site trailer repairs.
• Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot trailer issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair and replace trailer components including: brake systems.
• Repair and replace trailer components including: suspension systems.
• Repair and replace trailer components including: electrical wiring and lighting.
• Repair and replace trailer components including: floors, doors, frames, and structural components.
• Troubleshooting and repairing liftgate issues.
• Perform welding and fabrication work as required.
• Complete work orders and maintenance documentation.
• Manage inventory and parts on service vehicle.
• Ensure all work meets safety and compliance standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
