Job summary

RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is seeking a Mobile Trailer Mechanic to travel to customer sites in a mobile service truck for on-site diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on tractor-trailer equipment.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, safety-conscious, outdoors-friendly, and able to support fleet operations. The role includes weekend/on-call availability and opportunities for bonuses after probation.

Qualifications

• Trailer repair experience required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to be on-call.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair truck and trailer systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and component replacements.
• Operate and maintain a mobile service truck.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and DOT regulations.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate service and repair documentation.
• Weekend and on-call availability as needed.
