Job summary

RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is seeking a Mobile Trailer Mechanic to travel to customer sites in a mobile service truck for on-site diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on tractor-trailer equipment. The role suits a self-motivated, safety-conscious technician who enjoys outdoor work and supporting fleet operations.

The position offers a day shift, on-site work in the Laurel area, with overtime after 40 hours, quarterly bonuses, clothing/boot allowances, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license and ability to pass DOT physical.
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
On-call availability is required.
Drug screen may be administered.

Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, and repair truck and trailer systems.
Perform preventative maintenance and component replacements.
Operate and maintain a mobile service truck.
Ensure compliance with safety and DOT regulations.
Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
Maintain accurate service and repair documentation.
Weekend and on-call availability as needed.
