Job summary

RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is expanding in the Dallas area and is seeking a skilled Mobile Trailer Mechanic to join our field team. You will travel to customer sites in a mobile service truck to diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on tractor-trailer equipment, delivering high-quality work in the field.

This role requires trailer repair experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.

Qualifications

• Trailer repair experience required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to be on-call.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair truck and trailer systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and component replacements
• Operate and maintain a mobile service truck
• Ensure compliance with all safety and DOT regulations
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
• Maintain accurate service and repair documentation
• Weekend and on-call availability as needed
