RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is seeking a Mobile Trailer Mechanic for the 2nd shift in Romulus, MI. Join a growing team delivering on-site trailer diagnostics and repairs with a mobile service truck.

Ideal candidates have trailer or diesel mechanic experience, are safety-minded, and can communicate effectively with customers and co-workers. DOT physical and drug screen are required, with growth opportunities and benefits.

Qualifications

• Trailer Mechanic experience required.
• Outdoor, mobile service truck position.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and Drug Screen.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose all trailer systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and parts, including ABS, frame, body, doors, tires and electrical systems.
• Independently motivated professional, dedicated to providing top-notch service.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers.
• Properly operate the mobile Service Truck.
• Follow all safety requirements while servicing trailers and while driving the Service Truck.

About The Job

A successful candidate for this position would be an experienced Trailer Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic, with a strong understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair. Someone who is self-motivated, safety-minded, enjoys mobile service truck work and is able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.

• $30-$34/hour or commensurate with experience.
• Quarterly Safety & Performance Bonuses after 90 days.
