Job summary

RSS Mobile Trailer Repair in Corsicana, TX is seeking an experienced Mobile Trailer Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic with strong diagnostics and repair skills for on-site trailer service.

You will inspect trailer systems, perform repairs, and communicate clearly with customers while upholding safety. Competitive pay $24-$30/hour, Mon-Fri DAYS, with quarterly bonuses after 90 days and benefits after 1 year. CDL/DOT requirements and lifting 50lbs apply.

Qualifications

• Must have experience as a Trailer Mechanic.
• Outdoor, mobile service truck position.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and Drug Screen.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose all trailer systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and parts, including but not limited to: ABS, frame, body, doors, tires and electrical systems.
• Independently motivated professional, dedicated to providing top-notch service.
• Maintain positive working relationships with customers.
• Properly operate the mobile Service Truck.
• Follow all safety requirements while servicing trailers and while driving the Service Truck.

About The Job

A successful candidate for this position must be an experienced Mobile Trailer Mechanic or an experienced Diesel Mechanic with a strong understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair. Someone who is self-motivated, safety-minded, and is able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.
