Job summary

Southern Tire Mart is seeking a tire service technician to respond to roadside and on-site service calls with a fully equipped service truck. You will mount, balance, and repair tires for passenger, light, and commercial vehicles, diagnose tire issues, and maintain equipment; overtime and flexible hours may apply; CDL preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old and pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required.
• Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires preferred.
• Able to lift 30–250 lbs and work in varied weather.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside and on-site service calls.
• Mount, dismount, balance, and repair tires.
• Diagnose tire-related issues and perform light mechanical repairs.
• Inspect tires and wheels for wear and proper inflation.
• Operate TPMS and other diagnostic tools.
• Maintain the service truck and tools in safe condition.
• Provide exceptional customer service with clear timelines.
• Assist with warehouse or shop duties when not on service calls.
