Job summary

Southern Tire Mart is seeking a tire service technician to respond to roadside and on-site service calls using a fully equipped service truck. You will mount, dismount, balance, and repair tires for passenger, light truck, and commercial vehicles.

Responsibilities include diagnosing tire issues, performing light mechanical repairs, inspecting tires and wheels, and operating TPMS. You will maintain the service truck and comply with DOT safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to respond to roadside service calls and on-site jobs.
• Experience with mounting, dismounting, balancing, and repairing tires.
• Strong customer service skills and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside and on-site service calls using a fully equipped service truck.
• Mount, dismount, balance, and repair tires for various vehicle types.
• Diagnose tire-related issues and perform light mechanical repairs as needed.
• Inspect tires and wheels for wear, damage, and proper inflation.
• Perform fleet inspections and preventative maintenance checks when required.
• Operate TPMS and other diagnostic tools.
• Maintain the service truck, tools, and equipment in safe condition.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service with clear timelines.
• Assist with warehouse or shop duties when not on service calls.
