Job summary

Southern Tire Mart is seeking a Tire Service Technician to respond to roadside and on-site service calls using a fully equipped service truck. You will mount, balance, and repair tires across passenger, light truck, commercial, and industrial types, diagnose tire issues, and perform light mechanical repairs as needed.

You will inspect tires and wheels for wear, ensure proper inflation, operate TPMS, and maintain the service truck and tools in safe operating condition while adhering to DOT

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide excellent customer service and clear communication of service details.
• Experience or familiarity with heavy‑duty/commercial tires preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside and on-site service calls with a fully equipped service truck.
• Mount, dismount, balance, and repair tires for passenger, light truck, commercial, and industrial applications.
• Diagnose tire related issues and perform light mechanical repairs as needed.
• Inspect tires and wheels for wear, damage, and proper inflation.
• Operate TPMS and other diagnostic tools; maintain truck and equipment in safe condition.
