Job summary

Community Council is seeking a Mobile Therapist to deliver intensive therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and families in home, school, and community settings. You will develop treatment plans, provide individual and family therapy, and supervise BHTs while ensuring timely documentation in line with IBHS and payer regulations.

The role requires a graduate degree with practicum and licensure eligibility or current licensure as a psychologist, counselor, MFT, or social worker.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree with minimum nine clinical practice credits and one year of full‑time mental health direct service experience; and completed practicum.
• Licensure as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist, or clinical social worker; or
• Licensed social worker or behavior specialist with a clinically based graduate degree and completed practicum.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans based on evaluations, diagnoses, MDT recommendations, client progress, medical necessity, and payer requirements.
• Provide individual and family therapy in approved settings while maintaining required intervention hours and ensuring services align with the treatment plan.
• Serve as the lead clinician for assigned clients, coordinating care and monitoring treatment progress, barriers, and ongoing service needs.
• Conduct treatment plan reviews, obtain required signatures, and complete timely reevaluations, reauthorizations, and plan revisions.
• Complete, review, and maintain accurate clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, logs, and required reports, in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Review and approve Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) documentation and provide clinical supervision, consultation, and guidance to support quality services.
• Collaborate with families, school personnel, BHTs, Behavioral Consultants, community agencies, and other providers to ensure coordinated care and communicate relevant client updates.
• Respond to clinical emergencies and promptly address and report safety, ethical, incident, and other urgent clinical concerns in accordance with established procedures.
• Participate in required supervision, clinical meetings, trainings, and professional development while maintaining compliance with ethical standards, organizational policies, and assigned responsibilities.
