Job summary

Community Council Health Systems seeks a Behavior Consultant to develop individualized plans for children and teens, working with a treatment team across in-home, school, and telehealth settings. You’ll design IBHS and FBA assessments, collect data, and monitor progress with families and schools in collaboration with clinical staff.

The role requires a Master’s degree, ABA experience, and 1–3 years of relevant work; LBC licensure is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Experience with ABA supports and data collection.
  • 1-3 years’ experience; Licensed LBC preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop treatment plans, IBHS assessments, FBA assessments.
  • Develop data collection tools & collect data on behaviors.
  • Completes progress notes, monthly summaries, and other assessments for the development, tracking and maintenance of treatment needs.
  • Monitors the progress, consistency, and regression of target behaviors.
  • Collaborate & meet with home, school, community & clinical supports that represent the client.
  • Provides clinical consultation for treatment team, consumer, and their families.
  • Provide support and supervision for BHT’s.
  • Completes required service documentation for billing purposes including, encounter forms, etc.
  • Initiate and oversee titration of services and discharge.
  • Attends mandatory group and individual supervision on a monthly basis.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Behavior Consultant, in collaboration with other treatment team members, develops and implements behavior modification intervention plans which are individualized to each child or adolescent according to their treatment needs. The Behavior Consultant identifies behavioral goals and intervention strategies and recommends non-aversive behavioral change methods. The Behavior Consultant typically serves as consultant to the treatment team, including the Mobile Therapist and Behavioral Health Technicians as well as the client and the clients’ natural supports. The BC maintains contact with external supports including any home, school and community supports etc. The BC may be required to attend evaluations, team meeting and school meetings etc., necessary on behalf of the child or adolescent. The BC implements behavioral, de-escalation, and safety plans etc., geared to teach and maintain socially significant behaviors.

  • Completes progress notes, monthly summaries, and other assessments for the development, tracking and maintenance of treatment needs.

  • Provides clinical consultation for treatment team, consumer, and their families.

Position Requirements
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master’s Degree / Post Graduate Degree (Must be from an accredited college or University.
  • Required to work with individuals requiring ABA supports.
  • 1 - 3 years’ experience
  • Licensed LBC preferred.

Job Types: Fee-For-Service

Salary: From $41.00 per hour

Expected hours: Minimum of 20 per week
