Job summary

USTA Hawaii Pacific Section is seeking a versatile tennis instructor for the Play and Learn program. You will serve as a mobile teaching professional across park sites, delivering lessons to players of all ages and ability levels.

Teaching may include private, semi-private, and group formats to promote skill development and enjoyment of the game. Requirements include a high school diploma (college preferred), strong computer and MS Office skills, and excellent verbal and written communication.

Qualifications

• High school degree required; college preferred.
• Proficient computer skills and MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to play tennis at NTRP 4.5+ or higher.
• Ability to teach group tennis lessons outdoors.
• Transportation required; willing to travel to different locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide tennis instruction for the Play and Learn program.
• Serve as a mobile teaching professional at multiple park sites.
• Conduct lessons according to the schedule from Community Tennis Director.
• Teach all ages and abilities; provide private, semi-private, and group lessons.
• Maintain and grow the student base; communicate with staff daily.
