USTA Hawaii Pacific Section is seeking a mobile tennis instructor to deliver Play and Learn program lessons across multiple park sites in Hawaii. You will teach all ages and abilities, offering private, semi-private, and group sessions in outdoor environments.
The role requires high school completion, strong verbal/written communication skills, and ability to travel. Preference for PTR/RSTA/USTA Development Coach certifications and proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected.

The United States Tennis Association (USTA) is the national governing body for the sport of tennis and the recognized leader in promoting and developing the sport’s growth on every level in the U.S. The Hawaii Pacific Section is one of 17 geographic Sections of the USTA. Incorporated in 1973, the Hawaii Pacific Section embraces over 7,800 individual members and 109 organizational members in Hawaii, American Samoa, Guam, and the Northern Marianas. In addition, the Hawaii Pacific Section is further comprised of four Community Tennis Organizations: Kauai, Maui, East Hawaii & West Hawaii. The Hawaii Pacific Section is a 501(c)(3) non‑profit organization dedicated to carrying out the goals of the national association within its region, particularly with respect to promoting tennis opportunities for juniors and adults of all abilities and all cultural backgrounds.

The base salary for this position consists of a $1,000/month base salary, plus lesson income, offering great earning potential! This range does not include any additional pay or benefits for which a person may qualify. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
