Job summary

Central Bank of the Midwest is hiring a Teller to support banking operations and serve as the face and voice of the organization. You will help clients with transactions, balance tills, and identify cross-sell opportunities to tailor financial solutions.

The role offers growth opportunities within a community-focused bank and emphasizes professional presentation and relationship-building with customers.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Basic math skills, computer/typing skills and the ability to count U.S. currency.
• Analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work with customers and colleagues.
• Look for cross-sell and up-sell opportunities in a customer-centric manner.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 20 lbs.

• Process financial transactions accurately and timely in a friendly and professional manner. The variety of transactions may be completed via the lobby, drive-thru, ATM, and other avenues.
• Balance assigned cash drawer and research differences where applicable.
• Actively listen to our customers, and communicate in a friendly, positive manner at all times; even in difficult situations.
• Recognize customer needs and cross-sell bank products/services ensuring recommendations are customer centric to meet the needs of the customer.
• Make referrals to other lines of business for traditional and non-traditional products and services.
