Job summary

Columbia Bank in Willows, CA is seeking a Teller - Float to serve as the first point of contact for clients and to perform teller transactions with accuracy and confidentiality. The role includes traveling within the geographic area to cover branches as needed and supporting branch cash operations.

Under guidance from Branch Managers, you will learn bank policies, meet Breakthrough Client Service Standards, and refer customers to appropriate products while ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with bank policies, procedures, and systems.

Responsibilities

• Always performs teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Balances cash drawer and processes transactions (deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, check cashing).
• Mitigates risk by safekeeping money and accurate transfer of funds.
• Interacts with clients and refers basic products to the appropriate department.
