Qualifications

• Education: At least 30 semester hours college credit preferred.

• Experience with troubleshooting technical issues.
• Positive interpersonal communication ability and self-motivation.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers and students with functionality of technology devices.
• Provide first level of support for PCs, printers, and projectors.
• Repair or coordinate repairs on Chromebooks and other mobile devices.
• Assist teachers and students with technology usage.
• Maintain technology inventory for assigned buildings.
• Install or update apps/software as directed.
• Proactively communicate and escalate issues.
• Maintain security on the district network.

Job description

Crystal Lake Elementary District 47 currently has (1) opening for the Mobile Technician position. The rate of pay is $17.87 per hour for a 40‑hour work week that is a year‑round position. Medical benefits and Paid Time Off are included. The Mobile Technician provides on‑going support for staff and students with specialization on mobile devices such as Chromebooks, iPads, PCs, and other wireless devices.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers and students with functionality of technology devices in the classroom.
• Provide first level of support and troubleshoot PCs, printers, projectors and other forms of technology.
• Repair or coordinate repairs on Chromebooks, iPads, PCs, and other mobile devices.
• Provide assistance to teachers and students where it relates with use of technology.
• Maintain technology inventory for the building(s) assigned.
• Install or update apps / software as directed.
• Be proactive, communicate and elevate issues to the next level of support.
• Assist in maintaining a high level of security on the district network.

Requirements
