Job summary

Crystal Lake Elementary District 47 seeks a Mobile Technician to support staff and students with technology in the classroom. The role focuses on ensuring device functionality across Chromebooks, iPads, PCs, and other wireless devices.

You will troubleshoot PCs, printers, projectors, and coordinate repairs while maintaining device inventory and assisting with app/software updates. A security-conscious approach to the district network is expected.

Qualifications

• Education: At least 30 semester hours college credit preferred.
• Knowledge of Windows, Chrome OS, iOS, Google Apps, and Microsoft Office.
• Detail-oriented.
• Experience with troubleshooting technical issues.
• Positive interpersonal communication ability and self-motivation.

Crystal Lake Elementary District 47 currently has (1) opening for the Mobile Technician position. The Mobile Technician provides on-going support for staff and students with specialization on mobile devices such as Chromebooks, iPads, PCs, and other wireless devices.

The Ideal Candidate Will

• Support teachers and students with functionality of technology devices in the classroom
• Provide first level of support and troubleshoot PCs, printers, projectors and other forms technology
• Repair or coordinate repairs on Chromebooks, iPads, PCs, and other mobile devices
• Provide assistance to teachers and students where it relates with use of technology
