Job summary

NextMed in Ohio (Piqua or Lima) is seeking a Mobile Surgical Laser Technologist to support urology procedures by transporting equipment, assisting with patient positioning, and ensuring HIPAA-compliant documentation.

Candidates should be prepared for a hands-on role with 40-hour weeks, with benefits and ongoing training opportunities; this position offers an independent work environment and direct impact on patient quality of life.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or educational equivalent.
• Passion for therapeutic patient care.
• Operating Room experience a plus!
• Ability to push, pull and/or manipulate over 100 pounds of medical equipment.
• Strong communication skills with a variety of audiences.
• Must complete: DOT physical, criminal background check, driver license check, and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Transporting of medical equipment to various medical facilities to include loading and unloading of all pertinent equipment to perform the procedure.
• Assist Urologist in the identification of calculi and accurately position patient for the treatment.
• Document required case activities in accordance with company policies while adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

(Candidates must be located within 30 miles of one of these locations).

COMPENSATION

Education and experience may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. The hourly pay range is competitive for this position with a guarantee that your hours will always be a minimum of 40 hours per week.

REQUIREMENTS
