Job summary

Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. is seeking a Traveling Stringless Technician to support stringless paving operations across Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. The role involves field work, data collection, and QA/QC on paving projects, with calibration of Leica and Trimble equipment.

The candidate should have an associate degree in a related field, 2+ years in stringless paving or surveying, and be willing to travel extensively within the region. Valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Surveying.
• 2+ years of experience in stringless paving, surveying, or related field.
• Knowledge of stringless paving technology and software, including Leica and Trimble systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively throughout the region.

Responsibilities

• Assist with stringless paving projects, including field work, data collection, and quality control.
• Work with surveying staff and project managers to develop accurate paving designs and plans.
• Maintain and calibrate stringless paving equipment, including Topcon and Trimble systems.
• Perform quality control checks on completed paving work.
• Assist with recordkeeping and project documentation.
• Travel regularly to job sites throughout Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
