Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Mobile Storage Shop Foreman to lead daily shop operations for mobile storage equipment in Glenwood, IL. You will plan technician workflow, oversee diagnostics, and ensure safe, efficient use of people and tools.

The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years in equipment repair, and experience with schematics. Travel to customer sites may be needed; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience repairing equipment and tools.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and knowledge of schematics.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee Fleet Technician workflow to maximize shop productivity, safety, and service levels.
• Train and coach Fleet Technicians when necessary.
• Order parts and liaise with vendors as needed.
• Perform and oversee advanced diagnostics and repairs at branch or customer locations.
• Maintain accurate work orders and documentation in Rental Flow.
• Travel to customer sites for repairs when required.
