Moon Valley Nurseries is seeking a Mobile Sprayer to oversee safe application of granular and liquid fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides. The role includes operating spray equipment, maintaining records, and complying with local and state regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a pesticide application license and nursery experience, plus the ability to lift heavy loads, and to work extended hours outdoors in varying conditions. Training and equipment operation are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Requires license or certification to apply chemical pesticides.
• Previous experience in fertilizers and crop protection product application is a plus.
• Clear and effective communication, documentation, and reading comprehension skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the safe application of granular and liquid fertilizers and herbicides per local/state regulations.
• Engage in post and pre-emergency weed control, insect, weed, and plant identification.
• Operate spray equipment and apply pesticides and fertilizers, calibrate, mix, load.
• Handle packaged agricultural chemicals safely and maintain equipment.
• Maintain daily application records and participate in required training.
