Valley Green & Associates in Moorhead, MN is hiring a Spray Technician / Pesticide Applicator to apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides safely and effectively, delivering high-quality service that meets our customers’ expectations. You will mix and handle chemical applications, identify weeds and turf issues, calibrate spray equipment, and maintain accurate records.

The role requires a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; training is provided and you may obtain a pesticide

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to operate spray equipment safely.
• No prior lawn care experience required—training provided.
• Pesticide applicator license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides.
• Mix and handle chemical applications safely.
• Identify weeds, turf issues, and pest concerns.
• Monitor lawn health and recommend treatments.
• Maintain accurate application records.
• Calibrate and maintain spray equipment.
• Log daily work in company app.
• Communicate with customers about services performed.
• Drive between job sites in company vehicles.
• Support general lawn care or landscaping tasks as needed.

We are looking for energetic, hardworking individuals to join our Valley Green team! We are currently hiring for aSpray Technician / Pesticide Applicatorposition. This role is responsible for applying fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides safely and effectively while delivering high-quality service that meets or exceeds our customers’ expectations.Job dutiesmay include performing all aspects of lawn treatment operations such as:

• Applying fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides
• Mixing and handling chemical applications safely
• Identifying weeds, turf issues, and pest concerns
• Monitoring lawn health and recommending treatments
• Maintaining accurate application records
• Calibrating and maintaining spray equipment
• Utilizing our computer software app to log daily work
• Communicating with customers regarding services performed
• Driving company vehicles safely between job sites
• Supporting general lawn care or landscaping tasks as needed

• Must be 18 years or older
• Reliable transportation to work each day
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to safely operate spray equipment and small machinery
• Previous experience in lawn care or chemical application preferred (but not required – we will train)
• Ability to obtain or currently hold a pesticide applicator license (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to take direction and work independently or as part of a team
