Job summary

Moon Valley Nurseries is seeking a Mobile Sprayer to ensure the safe application of granular and liquid fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides. You will operate spray equipment, calibrate mixtures, and maintain daily records while adhering to local and state regulations.

The role requires lifting up to 75 lbs, outdoor work, and the ability to work additional hours as needed. Prior pesticide licensing and experience in crop protection are highly valued.

Qualifications

• License or certification to apply chemical pesticides.
• Experience in fertilizers and crop protection product application.
• Clear and effective communication, documentation, and reading comprehension.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Availability to work additional hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage the safe application of granular and liquid fertilizers and herbicides in adherence to all local and state regulations.
• Engage in post and pre-emergency weed control, insect and weed identification, and plant identification.
• Operate all spray equipment and calibrate, mix, load and apply pesticides and fertilizers.
• Maintain daily application records.
• Participate in required training for product mixing and equipment operation.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and other duties as assigned.
