Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Mobile Solutions Architect with a strong background in native Android development to lead mobile application architecture and delivery for Deloitte projects. This is a fully remote, long-term contract role requiring hands-on technical leadership and architectural expertise in mobile platforms.

Position: C2C Contract

Responsibilities

• Design and implement mobile architecture based on business and UX requirements.
• Create high- and low-level technical architecture documentation for Android and iOS.
• Lead Android/iOS application development through the full software lifecycle.
• Build reusable SDKs and modular frameworks.
• Collaborate with backend/API teams to ensure seamless integrations.
• Optimize performance and troubleshoot complex mobile application issues.
• Conduct performance profiling and implement improvements.
• Mentor engineering teams on mobile development best practices.
  
  

Requirement Qualifications

• 12+ years of native mobile app development experience (primarily Android).
• Strong Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack, and Android Studio expertise.
• Understanding of iOS platforms and cross-platform strategies is a plus.
• Experience with CLEAN architecture, SOLID principles, modular design.
• Skilled in Room, DataStore, multithreading, background tasks, and memory optimization.
• Proficient with REST APIs, JSON/XML, error-handling, and caching.
• Familiar with performance tools (Android Profiler, Xcode Instruments).
• CI/CD and automation using Jenkins, Gradle, Git, and SourceTree.
• TDD, unit/UI testing frameworks and testable architecture.
  
  

Additional Information

• Experience in mobile security and enterprise mobility (EMM) is a plus.
• Exposure to iOS development and SDKs preferred.
• Must be a self-motivated leader with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  
  

Candidate Details

• Must be based in the U.S. and available to work remotely.
• Strong preference for senior mobile architects with both Android and cross-platform experience.
