Job summary

Airbnb’s Quality Platform team is developing AI-powered quality systems that scale across iOS and Android, integrating LLMs and automation into the testing lifecycle. You will join a high-impact group building infrastructure and tools to improve software quality for millions of hosts and guests.

As a Mobile Software Engineer, you will contribute to native mobile stacks, designing scalable testing environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize CI/CD for both platforms.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional mobile development experience in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment.
• Working knowledge of Kotlin/Android SDK and Swift/iOS SDK, with experience using modern build tools (Gradle, Xcode).
• Demonstrated experience building or extending test automation frameworks (e.g., Espresso, Compose Test, XCUITest) and mobile infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-driven testing solutions and intelligent feedback for iOS and Android platforms.
• Develop and maintain high-scale testing infrastructure used by the mobile engineering teams.
• Promote engineering craft by implementing best-in-class mobile patterns and modularity across native codebases.
