Job summary

LandPro Equipment is seeking a dedicated Small Engine Road Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain small agricultural and turf equipment at customer locations. You will perform mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs in the field, balancing independence with team support.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on experience, safe driving, and the ability to lift 75 lbs. You’ll use digital work orders and may mentor junior technicians as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience performing equipment service repairs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience diagnosing and repairing small engines.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to safely operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostics.
• Basic computer skills and ability to complete digital work orders.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. repeatedly.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to provide your own tools for the role.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain small agricultural and turf equipment at customer locations.
• Perform advanced mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs.
• Respond to service calls efficiently to minimize customer downtime.
• Communicate clearly with customers about repairs, recommendations, and timelines.
• Maintain service vehicle, tools, parts inventory, and equipment in clean working order.
• Complete work orders, reports, and documentation accurately and on time.
• Participate in training programs to continue developing technical skills.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
