You will inspect engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems, perform routine service, and ensure safety devices are functioning. Strong shop organization and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED with 3 years in a related field.
• Valid NC driver’s license with good driving record (CDL preferred).
• Background check and references required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics & Repair: troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical failures in lawn equipment.
• Preventative Maintenance: perform routine service intervals and safety checks.
• Fleet Oversight: maintain service logs and track maintenance costs and schedules.
• Inventory & Parts Management: source parts and manage shop stock of high-wear items.
• Mobile Support: perform emergency field repairs to keep crews operational.
• Facility Stewardship: keep shop & yard OSHA-compliant and organized.
• Operational Support: assist with seasonal workloads such as snow removal equipment.
