Job summary

JX Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Mobile Service Technician in Marquette, MI to keep our clients' fleets moving. You will perform repairs on customer vehicles, diagnose engines, and service various systems while delivering outstanding customer service.

This role requires a four-year diesel-focused education and hands-on experience, plus a state or federal A/C certification and CDL. Growth comes through training opportunities and teamwork within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on customer vehicles, lease units and company inventory.
• Diagnose, disassemble, clean and inspect engines.
• Diagnose, disassemble, clean, overhaul, repair, rebuild, and adjust various powertrain, suspension and electrical systems.
• Submit and complete technical reports and documentation.
• Troubleshoot fault codes and check engine lights.
• Assist in the rebuild and overhaul of engines.
• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Collaborate with team to provide positive customer experiences.

The Opportunity (Job Purpose):

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day (Essential Duties & Responsibilities):

• Perform necessary repairs on customer vehicles, lease units and company inventory
• Diagnose, disassemble, clean and inspect engines
• Diagnose, disassemble, clean, overhaul, repair, rebuild, and adjust clutches, differentials and power divider systems, suspension systems, electrical systems, braking systems, fuel systems, cooling systems, steering system, emission and hydraulic systems
• Submit and complete technical reports and documentation
• Troubleshoot fault codes and check engine lights
• Assist in the the rebuild and overhaul of engines
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Maintain a diplomatic and courteous manner in all dealings with customers and fellow employees
• Expand technical abilities through participation in training and development opportunities
• Timely completion of all assigned training, including at least 90% of assigned Peterbilt Training
• Possess a valid state or Federal mobile A/C certification
• Collaborate closely with team members and leadership to continuously cultivate positive experiences for our customers.
• Perform other dynamic duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications & Skills):

• Typically four (4) years of experience, and has completed a diesel focus technical school program, able to complete
• designated tasks on time achieving quality requirements. A valid state or Federal A/C certification, CDL and other
• skills desired.
• Mindset: A curious mindset with an entrepreneurial "pioneering spirit," strong integrity, and a passion for continuous professional development.

Physical and Mental Demands:

• The employee is frequently required to sit; drive, use foot controls, use a personal computer bend, squat, kneel, and crawl/lay on back; reach away from body or shoulder height; climb or balance; lift up to 75 pounds; push or pull; working in areas with fumes or airborne particles; vibration.
