Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience repairing class 7 & 8 trucks and trailers.
• Diagnostic experience with heavy-duty systems.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine the extent of damage or malfunction(s).
• Provide customers with preventative maintenance solutions when appropriate.
• Maintain 80% productivity.
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before presentation or delivery to customers.
• Repair, reline, replace, and adjust brakes (air, hydraulic, electric and brake accessories).
• Test drive vehicles and test components using proper equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair suspension systems including leaf and coil springs.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, exhaust systems, steering systems, air conditioning, PTOs and custom exhaust systems.
• Overhaul, troubleshoot and repair diesel and gasoline engines.
• Train new service shop employees on company procedures regarding vehicle repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and service truck.
• Practice safe driving.

Partner with the best in the heavy-duty industry and apply today!GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION The Mobile Technician III is expected to have mastered all aspects of Preventative Maintenance on all vehicle systems with the ability to train and develop other Technicians. Will perform all major and advanced adjustments, repairs, and component replacements. Perform advanced diagnostic operations in order to successfully diagnose vehicle system failures and suggest accurate system repairs. This technician will also work in the shop between service calls.
