Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to maintain and repair light construction equipment at stores and customer sites in the surrounding area. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and timely repairs while documenting all work in the company platform.

The role requires training store associates, complying with safety and DOT regulations, and occasional equipment deliveries. Strong communication and a proactive service mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be twenty-one years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• DOT medical certification requirements.
• Prolonged standing, lifting, climbing and other physical demands.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain a fleet of rental equipment at stores or customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Document all work performed (labor and parts) using the company platform.
• Train store associates and customers on operation and safety procedures.
• Assist with equipment deliveries and pickups as required.
• Plan short- and long-term goals with regional leadership.
• Conduct routine store visits for inspections and maintenance.
• Ensure equipment readiness, safety, and store appearance standards.
• Deploy new equipment to stores (PDIs, delivery, training).
