Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Mobile Service Mechanic to maintain a fleet of rental equipment across our store network and customer sites within their market. You will perform preventive maintenance, conduct routine visits, and support parts orders and on-site service calls.

This role emphasizes safety, DOT compliance, and accurate documentation using our technology platform. You will train store staff on equipment operation and help with deliveries and pickups as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• DOT medical certification requirements.
• Ability to lift and perform physical tasks.
• Experience servicing construction equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train store associates and customers on operation of equipment.
• Maintain MEWP certifications and fleet inventory; deploy new equipment to stores.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on rental equipment.
• Respond to service calls and order parts as needed.
• Document all work using the company technology platform.
