Job summary

Suburban Ford of Sterling Heights is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to perform maintenance and repairs at customer locations, delivering dealership-quality service with convenience. This role reports to the Service Manager and requires regular home visits to clients.

A flat rate of $40+ per hour with a 4-5 day work week offers strong earning potential. Qualified applicants have Ford experience, ASE or manufacturer certifications, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive repair experience required.
• 1+ years of Ford experience preferred.
• ASE certifications and/or manufacturer certifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Strong diagnostic skills.
• Team-oriented with focus on customer satisfaction and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance efficiently and accurately according to Ford and dealership standards.
• Diagnose vehicle concerns and determine the appropriate corrective action.
• Complete work in compliance with safety requirements and company policies.
• Document repairs, diagnostic procedures, test results, and labor times accurately on repair orders.
• Maintain a professional mobile work environment and uphold company standards.
• Provide and maintain a personal inventory of standard automotive technician tools.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing Sterling Heights Ford in the field.
