Job summary

Absolute International Security is seeking an Unarmed Security Guard - Driving for Sherman Oaks, Southern California. The role involves patrols, access control, incident reporting, and maintaining a professional security presence.

You will drive a company vehicle, monitor entrances, and coordinate with dispatchers and clients. Minimum qualifications include 26+ years old for driving roles, background check, and MVR driving standards, plus strong communication and report-writing skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 26 years old for driving positions.
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and client requirements.
• Ability to pass MVR driving requirements.
• Strong verbal communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
• Comfortable working outdoors, including varied weather conditions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be dependable, and adhere to integrity and grooming standards.
• Must maintain a clean, professional appearance and uniform standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as a visible deterrent to prevent rule violations or criminal activity.
• Perform driving patrols of the assigned area including parking lots and visitor centers.
• Monitor entrances and departures of employees, visitors, and vehicles.
• Control access points and maintain visitor/vendor logs.
• Observe and report suspicious activities or safety hazards.
• Prepare incident reports and daily activity logs.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, dispatchers, and clients.
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and disturbances.
• Assist in evacuations and emergency procedures as required.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Drive company patrol vehicle safely for driving positions.
• Follow site post orders, protocols, and company procedures.
