Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Mobile Response Driver in Tulsa, OK. In this full-time, unarmed security role you will monitor, patrol and respond to incidents at a retail location, while providing excellent customer service and a visible security presence.

The position requires a valid driver’s license and a background check; schedule includes daytime and evening shifts; pay is $17.00 per hour with weekly pay and potential driver-related benefits.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns to appropriate store leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while communicating professionally with store personnel, customers, and responding public service agencies.
