Job summary

PIRTEK Des Moines is seeking a Mobile Sales & Service Technician (MSST) to service, assemble and install hoses for a diverse client base in the Des Moines area. You will operate a company van and conduct service calls to build relationships with customers, with emphasis on a strong customer service mindset and excellent communication skills.

Successful candidates will be fully trained and equipped to fabricate hose assemblies on site, with opportunities for advancement and a competitive starting

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Clean driving record.
• Mechanically inclined, good communication skills, positive attitude, & self-motivated.
• Experience in or with construction, earth moving, agriculture, or heavy equipment is a plus.

Job Description

PIRTEK Des Moines is looking to hire a MSST to service, assemble and install hoses for a diverse customer’s base such as manufacturing, construction, and rental companies, to name a few. We are looking for applicants with a strong customer service mindset and excellent communication skills. The right candidates will have a background of success working in and around construction, heavy, agricultural and diesel equipment. As a PIRTEK MSST, you will be operating out of a purpose-built mobile service van and be carrying out service calls in the local area. This provides the opportunity to develop relationships with new and existing customers.

Successful candidates will be fully trained to operate a purpose-built PIRTEK service truck fitted with specialized equipment designed to fabricate flexible hose assemblies on site.
