Job summary

PIRTEK USA Franchise is seeking a Mobile Service and Sales Technician (MSST) to operate a fully equipped service van, respond to customer calls, and provide on-site hydraulic hose repair and related services.

You will work in the field, diagnose issues, install hoses, and maintain safety and records while building customer relationships and delivering superior service. Experience in hydraulic or field service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem‑solving skills are required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work independently in the field.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

PIRTEK is seeking a motivated and mechanically inclined Mobile Service and Sales Technician (MSST) to join our growing team. In this role, you will operate out of a fully equipped service van, respond to customer calls, and provide on-site hydraulic hose repair, replacement, and related services. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, customer interaction, and solving problems in the field.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls and travel to customer job sites throughout the Houston area.
• Diagnose hydraulic hose and fitting issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Service, assemble, fabricate, and install hydraulic and industrial hoses.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service van.
• Deliver professional, customer-focused service on every job.
• Accurately complete work orders, service records, and related documentation.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain compliance standards.
• Support business growth by identifying opportunities to build customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem‑solving skills.
• Prior hydraulic, mechanical, automotive, or industrial service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs as needed.
• Be willing to participate in rotating on-call coverage as required.

Preferred Experience

• Hydraulic hose or fluid power experience.
• Field service or mobile mechanic experience.
• Experience working with industrial, construction, or manufacturing equipment.
