Job summary

PIRTEK Des Moines is seeking a Hose Installation Technician to service, assemble and install hoses for a diverse customer base in manufacturing, construction, rental, and beyond. You will work from a mobile service van, building relationships with local customers and delivering on-site hose solutions.

Training is provided to operate the PIRTEK service truck and fabricate hose assemblies. The role offers a customer-focused path with opportunities for advancement, competitive pay, and paid time

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Clean driving record.
• Mechanically inclined, good communication skills, positive attitude, & self-motivated.
• Experience in or with construction, earth moving, agriculture, or heavy equipment is a plus.

PIRTEK Des Moines is looking to hire a Hose Installation Technician to service, assemble and install hoses for a diverse customer’s base such as manufacturing, construction, and rental companies, to name a few. We are looking for applicants with a strong customer service mindset and excellent communication skills. The right candidates will have a background of success working in and around construction, heavy, agricultural and diesel equipment. As a PIRTEK Hose Installation Technician, you will be operating out of a purpose-built mobile service van and be carrying out service calls in the local area. This provides the opportunity to develop relationships with new and existing customers.

Successful candidates will be fully trained to operate a purpose-built PIRTEK service truck fitted with specialized equipment designed to fabricate flexible hose assemblies on site.
