Job summary

The American Red Cross in Yuma, AZ is seeking a Mobile SAF Specialist to oversee service delivery to military members, veterans and families. You will manage volunteers, build partnerships with local military leadership and ensure programs run within policy.

This role requires deployment readiness and strong community engagement. Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years in program management, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Requires strong computer skills and the ability to communicate effectively in writing and speech.
• Experience with American Red Cross programs and services is strongly desired.
• Familiarity with military culture, regulations and protocol is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, public administration, or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer the delivery of Red Cross services to meet the needs of military members, veterans and families.
• Develop and implement community outreach and volunteer engagement within the local footprint.
• Provide leadership guidance to volunteers and supervise staff delivering SAF/IS U.S. programs.
• Develop and manage budgets and monitor program outcomes to ensure accountability.
