Job summary

The American Red Cross is seeking a Mobile SAF-IS Regional Program Specialist to support the Service to Armed Forces and International Services Division. This on-site role includes deploying to military bases worldwide and partnering with healthcare facilities to deliver critical services.

Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of program management experience, with strong public speaking, written communication, and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, human resources management, community organization, social or health sciences, or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years minimum related experience in program management or related field.
• Public speaking skills and the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing are required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in an individual or team environment.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver SAF/IS services to U.S. military members, veterans, and families per Red Cross policies.
• Provide support for International Services programs and services.
• Lead and develop volunteers; ensure compliance with SOPs and regulations.
• Build and maintain relationships with military leadership, community partners, and external organizations.
• Coordinate services with military treatment facilities and VA hospitals; support outreach and special events.
