Job summary

AffiniCare, Care Initiatives' internal staffing agency, is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) for flexible, mobile positions across Iowa. Choose full-time or part-time schedules and travel to multiple Care Initiatives nursing communities to fill open shifts.

RNs provide direct care, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and quality. Active Iowa RN license and CPR required; travel within the region and a 16+ hours/month minimum schedule are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Active Iowa RN license.
• Active CPR certification.
• Twelve (12) months of verifiable RN experience.
• Must live within driving distance of Care Initiatives communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit, ensuring quality care and resident safety.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Collaborate with CNA, LPN, provider, and other interdisciplinary team members to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
• Document care accurately to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
• Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols at all times.
