Accendra Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver home visits, equipment setups, and patient education in the Albany area. The role blends branch work and field visits, promoting safe transitions from hospital to home.

Responsibilities include device setup, education, documentation, and collaboration with physicians and care teams, using mobile tech for records and remote support as needed.

Qualificações

• LPN with Respiratory Care experience or Certified/Registered Respiratory Therapist with NY license.
• CPR Certification and valid NY licensure required.
• Comfortable using mobile tech, navigation tools, and digital documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct home visits to set up oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment and follow-ups
• Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Assess patient needs, document care, and elevate concerns appropriately
• Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams
• Maintain documentation using iPad/laptop
• Set up and operate respiratory equipment including oxygen, nebulization, PAP, and ventilation
• Inspect and test equipment for proper operation
• Perform clinical assessments (pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry) and vital signs
• Perform other duties as required
