Job summary

Chappell Tractor East LLC in Hopedale, MA is seeking an experienced Equipment Service Technician to service and repair customers' equipment on-site at their locations. You will diagnose issues, perform routine maintenance, and ensure quality customer service.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of field service experience, strong mechanical and electrical skills, and a valid driver's license. You’ll work outdoors in all weather and contribute to accurate record-keeping and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in equipment repair and maintenance.
• Knowledgeable with major mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Experience servicing diesel engines.
• Must be willing to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Chappell Tractor, a leading provider of construction equipment, is seeking an experienced Equipment Service Technician to join our team in Hopedale, MA. As an Equipment Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing and repairing equipment on the road at customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment issues on-site at customer locations
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment
• Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent customer service
• Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
• Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and workspace

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Prior experience working as a road technician at an equipment, truck or automotive dealership is preferred

• Must be willing to work outside in all weather conditions
