Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to oversee the release lifecycle for native mobile apps (iOS and Android) and supporting backend services. You will drive high-quality releases, facilitate readiness reviews, and coordinate with Product, Eng, QA, and Ops teams.

You will manage feature flags, ensure deployment readiness, and support incidents related to deployments and releases across global teams.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience managing mobile release lifecycles for iOS and Android.
Excellent verbal and written communication with proactive stakeholder management.
Experience with mobile CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
Proficiency in Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions and/or CircleCI.
Knowledge of Kubernetes fundamentals.
Experience with feature flag management in production environments.

Responsibilities

Own and manage release calendar across iOS, Android, and backend platforms.
Coordinate release scope with cross-functional teams including Product, Eng, QA, and Ops.
Lead release readiness reviews and go/no-go decisions.
Oversee end-to-end release execution: build, test, and deploy phases.
Coordinate app submissions to App Store and Google Play; manage backend releases.
