Prestige Fleet Services is seeking experienced diesel and trailer technicians to join our mobile/on-site maintenance team. You will perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers at customer locations, with a focus on efficiency and safety.

Our on-site model reduces admin time so you can focus on hands-on work and quality repairs. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of diesel/trailer repair, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of diesel and trailer repair experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work flexible hours including weekends.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Proficient with electronic work orders/tablet use for labor hours and status updates.
• 2 years of experience in federal inspections (annual) and brake inspections.
• 2 years of truck/trailer maintenance and repair experience or equivalent education.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must possess proper tools.

Responsabilités

• Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers (brakes, A/C, electrical, engines, exhaust, lift gates, tires).
• Schedule and oversee maintenance procedures, including preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Repair/replace vehicle/trailer components as needed.
• Open and close repair orders on company device.
• Obtain parts from local vendors and manage inventory on the service truck.
• Complete DOT forms and other documentation in a timely fashion.
