Job summary

City of Loveland is seeking a part-time Recreation Assistant to support community events, programs, and mobile recreation activities in Loveland, Colorado. You will assist with day-to-day event operations, partner with community groups, and help ensure safe, fun activities for children and families.

Responsibilities include promoting events on social media, assisting with setup and tear-down, and coordinating with seasonal staff.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old at hire.
• Experience working with the public is highly desirable.
• Ability to use computers and software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist in mobile recreation trailer rentals and events.
• Lead and supervise youth and family activities.
• Promote events on social media and assist with event pages.
• Assist with setup, tear-down and day-of event needs.
• Operate city vehicles and trailers; maintain safety and inventory.
