Your Role & Impact

The Mobile Clinic Registered Dental Assistant assists the dentist in delivering direct dental services to patients. Responsibilities include registering patients, checking them in, accepting payments, working chairside with the dentist, preparing the operatory, sterilizing instruments, and monitoring the inventory of supplies and instruments.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from a California Board‑approved RDA education program.
• Current California Registered Dental Assistant License (Coronal Polish/X‑ray/Sealants). Pit &​ Fissure Sealants must be completed by first license renewal.
• Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Infection Control Certificate.
• California Dental Practice Act Certificate.
• Current California Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Familiarity with dental terminology, instruments, materials, and medications used during dental procedures.
• Knowledge of professional and ethical standards of health care delivery.
• Availability to work outside of normal shifts (e.g., 8 am to 5 pm) and on Saturdays.
• Computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Word, and with electronic health record data entry.
• Bonus points if you’re bilingual (English/Spanish) or have community clinic experience!
