Job summary

X Ray Portable Inc. seeks qualified radiologic techs to perform portable x-rays and EKGs at the bedside, with drivers and a company vehicle provided. You will release images to licensed physicians and maintain meticulous records while traveling light, often reaching multiple client sites.

Qualifications

• Current X-ray state licensure for all states served.
• Able to work independently, yet as part of a team.
• Flexibility in work hours to meet client needs.
• Excellent driving record and must travel 3,000–6,000 miles per month.
• Drug and alcohol free.
• Must be physically able to load/unload x-ray equipment (100–185 lbs) several times per shift.
• Must be able to transport equipment up stairs and bedside.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-rays and EKGs on patients as assigned, following procedures.
• Release images to licensed radiologist or cardiologist for interpretation.
• Burn images to CD and deliver as assigned.
• Keep accurate documentation of services performed.
• Maintain vehicles, phones, equipment and supplies to maximize uptime.
• Be professional in actions, communication, and appearance.
• Other duties as assigned.
