Job summary

BioTech X-ray Inc. seeks a skilled portable X-ray technician to perform X-ray and EKG exams across client sites in Louisville, KY.

You will follow clinical procedures, ensure images are released to licensed radiologists, and maintain equipment and documentation. This field role requires a current X-ray license for all states served, ability to travel 3,000–6,000 miles monthly, a clean driving record, and physical fitness to load equipment.

Qualifications

• X-ray state licensures current for all states served.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible in work hours to meet client needs.
• Excellent driving record; able to drive 3000–6000 miles per month.
• Drug and alcohol free.
• Experience in portable X-ray preferred.
• Physically able to load/unload x-ray equipment (100–185 lbs) 5–10 times per shift.
• Able to transport equipment up and down stairs (up to 8 steps).
• Able to position X-ray cassettes under patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform x-rays and EKGs on patients as assigned, following procedures.
• Ensure images are released to a state-licensed radiologist or cardiologist.
• Burn images to CD and deliver as assigned.
• Keep accurate documentation of services performed.
• Maintain company property, vehicles, equipment and supplies.
• Be professional in actions, communication, and appearance.
• Other duties as assigned
