Job summary

TRIGO Global Quality Solutions seeks a Traveling Quality Inspector in Seguin, TX. This 1st shift role runs 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. A valid driver’s license and travel are required.

The inspector will perform quality inspections and audits, report results, and coordinate with site supervisors to ensure product conformance. Candidates should have English proficiency and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1+ year in Quality related position.
• Basic knowledge of materials and production processes.
• Basic knowledge of quality control methods.

Responsibilities

• The Quality Inspector inspects incoming material and conducts quality audits to ensure conformance to specifications and fitness for use.
• Rectifies non-conforming material by rework, sorting and/or scrapping as directed by Team Leader.
• Uses methods such as de-rusting, grinding, drilling, tapping, assembly and/or disassembly to rectify non-conforming material.
• Determines tools and equipment needed to do the job.
• Grinds, sands, cleans and oils parts and/or sub-assemblies using hand tools or equipment.
• Communicates sort/inspection results to managers, supervisors and production source.
• Must be able to use basic hand tools such as gaging, drills, taps, grinders and/or sanders to repair and/or clean parts.
• Utilizes the company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements.
