Primary Skills: Android/IOS(Advanced), Sports(Advanced), Automation (Intermediate), Appium(Expert), XCUItest/UIAutomator(Expert)

Contract Type: W2

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Sunnyvale, CA - 94089 ( Remote - CST/PST)

Pay Range: $41.94 - $46.43 per hour

Job Summary: Contribute as an SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test), not just QA – debug, solve problems, and suggest tooling/framework improvements. The ideal candidate should have profound experience in both iOS and Android platforms, with a strong emphasis on mobile automation testing. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch sports applications reliably.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on assigned projects, generating manual test cases and automating functional tests.
• Organize bug bashes to identify issues proactively.
• Manage Sports Mobile app releases, ensuring smooth and timely rollouts.
• Develop automated functional tests using industry-standard frameworks.
• Focus on automating backend API audits and functional tests for mobile apps.
• Automate manual functional testing processes for mobile sports applications.
• Own and manage mobile application releases (Play Store & App Store) including bug bashes, release coordination, and rollout monitoring.
  
  

Must-Have Skills

• Mobile Testing Automation (iOS + Android):
• iOS: XCUITest
• Android: Espresso, Appium
• Experience with end-to-end testing across mobile platforms.
• Scripting & Debugging Skills:
• Capable of debugging automation and backend/API issues.
• Familiarity with backend systems a plus (e.g., Java-based backends).
• CI/CD Pipelines:
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions and cloud-based CI/CD pipelines is a strong plus.
• Will help transition from existing tools to GitHub Cloud.
  

Industry Experience Required

• Prior experience in the sports industry is preferred, offering a unique understanding of the domain’s dynamics and requirements.
